Introduction to Photography Class

Got Camera? Whether it’s an old one from the closet or the newest technology, this class will get you familiar with all of those buttons and functions. Tired of having to live with whatever the camera gives you? This class will get you out of the point and shoot box and in creative control of your photographs. Learn how to talk to your camera and tell it what you want, set up your first manual photograph, or refresh yourself because you’ve been away from it for a while. Learn lighting, use of flash, editing, what makes an award winning shot, how films and digital ISO’s can improve your image quality, where to take your printing and why, and how to make a great final presentation from a not so great shot. No text book here, you will learn from my own trials and errors with entertaining slide presentations and big wall size examples.

Whether you want to photograph your pets or children’s portraits, sporting events, weddings, or decorate your home with your vacation shots, this class is where it all starts.

This is the class that will break down the basics in a fun and easy to understand way. Each class has open question and answer sessions so by the end of the 4 weeks you will be out of the box and creating your own photographs.

This class has 4 years of great reviews and satisfied attendants, many who have taken the class as many as 3 times, not because they didn’t learn, but because they had a lot of fun.

Includes 3 classroom sessions and 1 outdoor shoot.
